The study of the history of the capital continues inside the fortress walls of the city of Erebuni, founded in 782 BC. According to Forbes, Erebuni was included in the “nine most ancient fortresses of the world.”
Another extremely important historical site in Yerevan is the Monument to the victims of the 1915 Armenian Genocide. This place, similar to the tragic events of that time, has a special significance for the local population.

Many interesting guests of Armenia await in the environs of the capital, for example, the Echmiadzin Cathedral – the spiritual center of all Armenians, founded in 301-303. This place also serves as the residence of the Armenian Catholicos, who is the head of the local clergy.
On the territory of one of the historical Armenian capitals, the city of Artashat, is the monastery of Khor Virap. For 13 years, the first Armenian Catholicos Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned in this sacred place for all Christians. By visiting the monastery, everyone will be able to personally see the unique monument of architecture and learn the history of the conversion of Armenia to Christianity.

In Armenia, the tour participants will be able to see unique architectural monuments that are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. One of these objects is the monastery complex Geghard, partially erected right in the rock.

It is difficult to imagine a trip to Armenia without visiting the high-mountainous Lake Sevan, where, in addition to excellent rest, guests can enjoy an interesting informative excursion to the monastery of Sevanavank, built in the 9th century.
All of the above is only a small part of the architectural and historical wealth of Armenia. At the same time, it should be noted that along with the cultural program of tourists, there are various types of tours, walks in the evening capital, visiting entertainment and shopping centers, restaurants with traditional Armenian cuisine and other amazing places that will make the trip unforgettable.
